Travels

Atlas

This section of the site is devoted to cultivating my love of travel writing.  I absolutely love to fly and always feel ‘at home’ in airports – the excitement of take off and the way the air smells and feels different in every country when you step out of the plane, it never loses its appeal.  Although I’ve been all over the world in the years, there are many places I still want to see and I have only just started this map to chart my ventures around the world, ticking off all the places I most wish to see, making plans for the long-term.  So here’s a working account of the journey so far…

Close to Home: The United Kingdom
Cornish Cream
London Bridge for Sunday Lunch

Kent: The Garden of England
Ireland – Reasons to Visit the Emerald Isle
A Palacial Visit: Hampton Court

Across the Continent: European Adventures
Italian Wedding Cake
Amsterdam

Americas and Beyond: The Great Pacific
New Ventures, New York
Things I discovered in St Lucia

Far Eastern Magic
Bangkok
New Dehli
Malaysia
